LPG gas price in Pakistan today is Rs. 300 to 350 per kilogram in market however price set by OGRA is Rs. 250 per KG. Although price is set by The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Pakistan. The latest OGRA LPG gas per kg and cylinder rate in the month of April 2024 are revised. LPG is used in Pakistan as domestic fuel. Some auto-rickshaws drivers also use LPG gas.

LPG gas prices are inclusive of 18% GST, last revised and effective from 1st April 2024 by OGRA.

OGRA LPG News in Pakistan April 2024:
Ogra has issued a notification for reduction in LPG price for the month of April.
According to OGRA spokesperson Imran Ghaznavi, after the reduction in the Saudi Aramco contract price, OGRA has also reduced the prices of LPG, making an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder 76 rupees 9 paise cheaper.
The price of LPG per kg for April has been fixed at Rs 250 34 paise after a reduction of Rs 6 44 paise.
Domestic cylinder fell by Rs 3,030 12 paise to Rs 2,954.03 after the price cut.
It should be remembered that in March, the price of LPG per kg was 256 rupees 78 paise and domestic cylinder was 3 thousand 30 rupees 12 paise.

In winter when there is load shedding of SNGPL there comes the alternative which is LPG. People in Pakistan get the cylinder filled from the local market gas shops. This is used for cooking and other domestic purposes. As compared to Sui gas it is expensive and has low pressure.
LPG is also used as an auto vehicle fuel. LPG prices are analyzed and revised on need basis by OGRA. OGRA prepares summary of new prices with respect to international price changes. Summary is approved by the government of Pakistan. The shortage is also observed in the season of winter.
