LPG gas price in Pakistan today is Rs. 180 per kilogram in market however price set by OGRA is Rs. 234 per KG. Although price is set by The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Pakistan. The latest OGRA LPG gas per kg and cylinder rate in the month of June 2024 are revised. LPG is used in Pakistan as domestic fuel. Some auto-rickshaws drivers also use LPG gas.

OGRA LPG News in Pakistan June 2024:
A significant decrease in the price of LPG has been reported in Pakistan. According to Chairman of LPG Distributors, Irfan Khokhar, the price of LPG in the country has dropped from Rs 250 to Rs 180 per kg.
The Chairman stated that the price of LPG has decreased by Rs 60 to 70 per kg. Additionally, Chairman OGRA mentioned during the Oil and Gas Conference that there are substantial investment opportunities in the LPG sector in Pakistan, and the usage of LPG in the country is expected to increase significantly over the next 5 years.

In winter when there is load shedding of SNGPL there comes the alternative which is LPG. People in Pakistan get the cylinder filled from the local market gas shops. This is used for cooking and other domestic purposes. As compared to Sui gas it is expensive and has low pressure.
LPG is also used as an auto vehicle fuel. LPG prices are analyzed and revised on need basis by OGRA. OGRA prepares summary of new prices with respect to international price changes. Summary is approved by the government of Pakistan. The shortage is also observed in the season of winter.
