LPG gas price in Pakistan today is Rs. 270 per kilogram in market however price set by OGRA is Rs. 237 per KG. Although price is set by The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Pakistan. The latest OGRA LPG gas per kg and cylinder rate in the month of August 2024 are revised. LPG is used in Pakistan as domestic fuel. Some auto-rickshaws drivers also use LPG gas.

LPG gas prices are inclusive of 18% GST, last revised and effective from 1st August 2024 by OGRA.

A minor increase in the price of LPG has been reported in Pakistan. Rs. 2.27 per kilo gram price added to the current price by OGRA.

In winter when there is load shedding of SNGPL there comes the alternative which is LPG. People in Pakistan get the cylinder filled from the local market gas shops. This is used for cooking and other domestic purposes. As compared to Sui gas it is expensive and has low pressure.
LPG is also used as an auto vehicle fuel. LPG prices are analyzed and revised on need basis by OGRA. OGRA prepares summary of new prices with respect to international price changes. Summary is approved by the government of Pakistan. The shortage is also observed in the season of winter.
